Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

 

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is located at Disney's Hollywood Studios park at the Walt Disney World resort and Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Resort. It is based mainly off of the sequel trilogy but has nods to the other projects in the Star Wars universe.

There are a few differences in the Disney World and Disneyland versions

• Disneyland has 3 entrances while Disney World only has 2.
• Disneyworld has a spot that was dedicated to being the entrance from the Galactic Starcruiser which is now closed
• The menu at Docking Bay 7 has more food options at Disney World
• Cold Brew Black caf is found at Docking Bay 7 at Disneyland and Kat Saka Kettle at Disney World
• Oga's Cantina is the only place in Disneyland to get alcohol whereas Disneyworld most of the dining places sell it

Rides

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

• one of the most popular rides at the 2 parks
• trackless style with a drop and simulation
• 2 modes: A and B. A has an animatronic of kylo while B has a screen video
• have to wait in standby or buy individual lightning lane to ride
• during special events at Hollywood Studios, ride may go on virtual queue

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run

• ride style of simulation where you're in control: pilot, gunner, and engineer
• pilots fly, gunners capture cargo, engineers fix the ship
• credits earned can be found on the Star Wars: datapad on the play disney parks app
• ride can be ridden by standby, genie+ lightning lane, or single rider line
• single rider line is usually a walk on and sometimes 2 may get on same vehicle

Food

Docking Bay 7

• serves lunch and dinner
• at Disney World, Ronto wrap is sold here after 3 pm with chips
• fountain drinks are available
• sells some alcoholic beverages at Disneyworld such as the takodana quencher which can be found at Oga's in Disneyland
• offers indoor and outdoor seating
• mobile order is available

Ronto Roasters

• sells breakfast and lunch at disneyworld and and breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Disneyland
• known for its ronto wrap which is sausage and a pita bread with toppings varying on breakfast or lunch and dinner
• mobile order is available here
• disneyworld offers more menu options that are plant based

Oga's Cantina

• the bar inspired by the movies
• sells alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks and snacks
• reservations required and highly recommended

Milk Stand

• sells green and blue milk inspired by the movies
• often has a souvenir cup
• sells alcoholic versions at disneyworld

Kat Saka Kettle

• sells popcorn
• disneyland changes up the popcorn options
• disneyworld has the cold brew black caf
• occasionally has a popcorn bucket

Outdoor Coca Cola carts

• sells Dasani water and Coca Cola products
• bottle beverages inspired by the movies in style of bombs for Coca Cola 

Cool Merchandise

• custom built lightsabers
• reservation required
• 4 crystal color options: red, green, blue, and purple
• 5 hilt design options
• sheath included
• given a pin to know your design picked
• droid building
• reservations encouraged
• r2-d2, chopper, or bb unit options available

• game that allows you to interact more in the land by hunting behind the doors for bad guys

Play Disney Parks Datapad

• available at both Disneyland and disneyworld and everything crosses over between the two
• hack into droids, tune into conversations, complete jobs, scan for cargo, translate the language around the land

Photo ops

• magic shot with glowing orb
• in front of wall

• they roam around and may even talk to you
• you can see Chewbacca, kylo ran, rey, stormtroopers, the mandalorion with grogu, etc.
